Our projects
We have successfully completed an impressive variety of construction projects. We've built up so much experience over the years with a dedicated and loyal team that is able to deliver projects reliably, on time and within budget.
This project list demonstrates our ability to manage and construct a huge variety of jobs for customers, whatever their requirements. The examples given below exemplify our philosophy of achieving great results by keeping things simple.
Large Home Construction - West Harptree
This large home was built near East Harptree by F. J. Wookey & Co. in 2002. We have also completed several projects for the owner in the following years such as the construction of a pump house for a swimming pool and a conservatory.
Holders of Congesbury - M.O.T Bay
F. J. Wookey & Co. constructed this M.O.T bay for Holders of Congesbury which required a very high level of precision to ensure that every surface and design feature was suitable for the accurate testing of vehicles. (e.g. Brake testing, Headlight configuration).
Mendip Springs Golf Club - Holiday Lets
We were given the task of constructing several holiday lets for Mendip Springs Golf Club along with the conversion of several existing buildings into various uses, such as a cellar, a new games room, new toilet facilities (including a disabled toilet) and an office.
Sutton Park - Bishop Sutton
F. J. Wookey & Co. constructed several homes in the Sutton Park area of Bishop Sutton one of which is shown here.
Bishop Sutton Village Hall
Bishop Sutton village hall was constructed by F. J. Wookey & Co. and is currently used for a variety of events within the community providing a space for such things as award ceremonies, dances, corporate events, private functions and wedding receptions.
